Why Girl's Menarche?
Menarche refers to the first occurrence of menstruation. Menarche is the period when menstruators are very vulnerable because of the rapid changes that happens to their body, for example experiencing menstrual cramps, bleeding, body aches, and mood swings due to hormones.
So during this period, menstruators need more information, menstrual products and support to overcome the myths and taboos about menstruation.
We took the initiative to reduce the number of school dropouts, suicide attempts, anxiety caused by menstruation through providing information and products to both young girls and boys (8 years and above), in order to change the conversations around menstruation.
